An upgrade from Win10 to Win11 on a machine with Solid Edge installed will not cause the Composite Host ID of the machine to be modified.  If this were the case, the licenses containing either CID for Floating Licenses ( FLEXLM) or the COMPOSITE2 ID for Node locked Licenses, would have to be adjusted.  However, since the IDs are not changed in this scenario, the customer can upgrade the Operating system without changing Licenses.
