Solid Edge Quick Tip - How do you set the default paradigm for your part or sheet metal template

To set the default modelling mode for Solid Edge Part and Sheet Metal documents, follow these steps:

  1. Start Solid Edge.
  2. Select "File" from the menu, then select "Settings" -> "Options" -> "Helpers".
  3. In the Helpers dialog box, you will find radio buttons for both "Synchronous" and "Ordered".
    4. Select the desired mode with which the new Part and Sheet Metal documents will start.
