This video covers the transition from a traditionally manufactured part to an additive manufactured part using Generative Design capabilities in Solid Edge.
We started with a 1.8kg part and with the powerful generative design tools in Solid Edge, we were able to reduce the weight of the part to 0.12kg fairly quick. You can see by the end of the video how this process can create very unique and intriguing designs that will grab your attention.
